Hi Mike,

I was making the cotton swabs with the cadaver dirt. I put the dirt in mason jars and filled
with water and added the cotton swabs. I did 12 small jars and then put them in a 5 gal
paint bucket. This was all done on our front porch. I thought I was very careful but a few
grains of dirt were left on the porch so I rinsed it off with water.  Several hours later I let
Gabe out to run and as he passed the spot where I had been working on the cadaver he
immediately sat down. Normally he takes off like a bullet when turned loose to run. It took
me a second and then I realized he was telling me he found cadaver scent and wasn't
moving until he got a reward. I was so excited I just had to tell you. Thanks for your
training, it is paying off.

I had the opportunity to go to AZ in January 07 to spend a
week with Mike and Willow and their dogs.
First to all that know Mike he is a GREAT trainer and Dog
handler. This was a given that I had a great time and they made
me feel comfortable in their home. I have known Mike since May
of 2006 and have made to many numerous calls to mention...
Mike has made the time to answer all my questions and explain
the Whys of how to train my Malinois (Tess) step by step. Mike
had Tess doing the starts of search work and doing it Well. Her
alerts are clean clear and consistent each and every time.  Tess
is almost 8 months old and further along than I expected in
such a short period of time.  I feel in my heart she will continue
to excel due to Mike's consistent input.
I would highly RECOMMEND that if anyone has a week to
spend with Mike whether it be at his home in AZ or anywhere
else it would be a week of fun., laughs and the best possible
learning experience and I promise you will walk away with so
much more confidence in yourself and your dog,

Chance is doing great. All of his basic commands (sit, down, stay, heel, come, go,
etc) are rock-solid. He has mellowed a bit with age (he's a little over 2 yrs old
now) and training. Laurie and I have been good about keeping him in shape
with his commands and "place in the pack".

We are very happy with Chance and wanted to once again thank you for your
work with him. Without a Pinal Mountain K9 (formally Rio Verde K9)
intervention, we wouldn't have made it with Chance.
