UPDATE: Joey certified as a cadaver dog with
ISAR (Iowa Search and Rescue) in October of 2007.

Joey was adopted out to Anne Lowatchie of Iowa Search and Rescue.
His training for SAR was started by Pinal Mountain K9 (formally Rio
Verde K9) and will be completed by Anne.
He is a blast to work, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for
letting me have him. I was worried about having the ability to work with
a high drive dog, but he makes it pretty easy. Joey is also very well
mannered in the house and is the only one who sits nicely in the barn
waiting for me to open the door. Don't know how he scared anyone!!!
Took him to the open house at the fire station last week to do PR work
for the task force and he did great. Kids were patting and hugging him
and he took to it like a pro.
